Senior Director, Enterprise Data & Analytics Platforms
The Senior Director, Enterprise Data & Analytics Platforms, is responsible for leading Danaher's enterprise data platform team and driving the company's data and analytics strategy by implementing scalable, governed, and user-friendly platforms that provide high-value data for AI, analytics, and enterprise use. This position reports to the interim Chief Technology Officer and is part of the Danaher Corporate IT team and will be fully remote with frequent travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Define and lead a cohesive enterprise data and analytics strategy that aligns with Danaher's business goals, accelerates digital and AI initiatives, and enables scalable, insight-driven innovation across the enterprise. Build and lead a global team of data and analytics professionals, cultivating a high-performance, inclusive culture anchored in continuous improvement, delivery excellence, and strong documentation and process discipline. Deliver and evolve a trusted, easy-to-use enterprise data platform that provides frictionless access to high-value data and supports menu-driven, environment-as-code deploymentenabling business users and AI teams to provision experimental environments and accelerate insight generation and innovation rapidly. Establish and enforce enterprise data governance and quality frameworks to ensure data accuracy, compliance, regulatory alignment, and confidence in data-driven decision-making across Danaher. Implement rigorous operational processes for platform lifecycle management, including service-level management, usage standards, documentation, and continuous optimization for performance, scalability, and compliance. Partner across the Global Technology Organization to ensure deep alignment with AI, data strategy, and innovation teamsdriving coordinated execution, shared platforms, and integrated roadmaps. Deliver analytics solutions that enable enterprise functions and operating companies to unlock value, improve decision-making, and drive measurable business outcomes through shared data assets and reusable insights. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in data and analytics roles, building and managing enterprise-scale data platforms and solutions. 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing data/analytics teams, including global or distributed teams. Deep expertise in cloud data warehousing, especially with Snowflake, and familiarity with equivalent platforms (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics). Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), leveraging their data storage, integration, and analytics services (such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or AWS S3, AWS Glue). Proven track record in data governance and quality: implementing enterprise data governance frameworks and data quality programs to ensure accuracy, compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and trust in data across the organization. Strong knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager) for automating environment provisioning and managing the data platform lifecycle. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites, up to 10% It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Implementing the Danaher Business System (DBS) or other lean business methodology in Information Technology Professional certifications such as Snowflake SnowPro certification, AWS/Azure cloud architect certifications, or a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP). Experience integrating AI/ML and advanced analytics into data platforms
for example, enabling data science teams with scalable sandbox environments or implementing MLOps workflows.
