Support clinical oncology quality activities in collaboration with Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) and Northside Hospital (NSH) Quality leadership. Responsible for ensuring that clinical activities and documentation meet quality, compliance and regulatory standards for nursing and ancillary services. Oversee the NHCI activities related to orientation and competency, quality reporting, and training recommendations related to regulatory requirements. Responsible for the planning and execution of projects related to quality and TJC standards. This position is responsible for the interpretation of regulatory standards and responsible for leading teams in collaboration with NHCI operational leadership to facilitate the implementation of regulatory and meaningful use requirements. Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED B.S.N. in Nursing or B.S. Radiation Therapy/Oncology or related field Five (5) years prior healthcare experience. Two (2) years prior management/supervisory experience in a healthcare environment. Previous experience with outpatient clinical operations and electronic health systems. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards. PREFERRED Background in Quality Improvement and Joint Commission accreditation. Background in Clinical Systems Applications. Advanced degree in Nursing, Information Systems, or Health Related Field. Work Hours:
