In this role, you will: Serve as contractor SETA support to the TRMC Test Resource - Modernization Division Chief. Provide insight across a broad spectrum of defense systems on matters related to test and evaluation (T&E) and the associated test infrastructure needed to support defense systems. Coordinate across multiple mission and technology portfolios to broker information on evolving and emerging test infrastructure requirements, assess impacts to near- and far-term future T&E infrastructure requirements, and recommend/assess solutions. Assess adequacy of T&E infrastructure, facilities, funding and workforce. Lead and conduct research on T&E challenges, issues, and solutions: obtain relevant DoD documents, develop requirements for studies, analyze options and develop required documentation. Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in inter-agency meetings across DoD stakeholders and summarize the proceedings. Review policy and legislation for impacts on T&E and associated test infrastructure. Understand and execute all duties in support of an OSD Action Officer. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have: Active DoD Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility A Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant work experience OR a Master's degree and 8 years of relevant work experience 5 years of experience in Test and Evaluation Multi-disciplinary technical and analytical background supported by broad technical experience Relevant DoD or similar experience applicable to TRMC charter. Demonstrated ability to evaluate capability proposals and determine trade space to optimize intended effects Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team Willingness to work on all aspects of team priorities The ability to travel up to 10% Ability to work with a wide range of contributors, to include engineers, subject matter experts, functional teams, and senior leadership Experience tracking team progress to plan Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work within tight deadlines Excellent written and oral communication skills including copy editing experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Additional desired experience and skills: Technical experience in engineering or physics. Experience in the development, drafting, editing, publishing, distribution, coordination of executive-level communication deliverables, to include information papers, guidance memoranda, policies, technical reports, congressional reports, annual reports, responses to media inquiries, briefings, and presentations Experience in test of strategic, missile defense, or autonomous systems. Experience organizing, facilitating, leading Microsoft Teams sessions.
