As a Systems Administrator Senior you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Systems Administrator Senior joining our team to maintain and support Windows servers, ensuring their security, availability, and performance. This role involves regular patching, troubleshooting, and collaborating with other IT teams to implement infrastructure solutions that align with command requirements. How a Systems Administrator Senior will make an impact: Troubleshoot issues within Windows Server 2019/2022 Operating Systems and Active Directory. Perform regular maintenance tasks including patching and remediation. Manage certificate lifecycle management processes for web servers and secure communication channels. Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions. Ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and best practices. Build, deploy, and maintain server applications and proprietary software. Install critical system patches and perform system upgrades. Interact with end-users to understand and evaluate functional requirements. Interface with third-party vendors for troubleshooting and support. Maintain system documentation and prepare process guides. Support projects to enhance operational efficiency and security. Track and escalate problems at the appropriate priority level. Produce management reports and informational packets to support process improvements. What you'll need to succeed: Education: BS/BA degree or Technical Training, Certification, and 3+ years of experience. Required Experience: 3+ years of related systems administration experience. Troubleshoot issues within Windows Server 2019/2022 Operating Systems and Active Directory. Experience in systems administration and infrastructure management. Understanding of Certificate Lifecycle Management. Ability to prepare comprehensive documentation for systems administration tasks. Required Certifications: Security+ CE cert or other applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 certification. Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance required. Location: On site at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL. Preferred Skills: Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission. Experience working in cross-functional IT teams and projects. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
