5:00 pm depending on student's schedule. This is an ongoing internship located in Columbus, OH. The selected candidate will ideally be able to work throughout the school year and summer, for an average of 20 hours per week or less (with flexibility during the school semesters given class schedule and course load). The pay rate for a college intern is based upon the student's academic status: Undergraduate student rate of pay - $16.93 per hour Graduate student rate of pay - $20.59 per hour Major/field of study should be in: Communications Digital Media Journalism Marketing Social Medial Strategic Communications Job duties: Assisting with reviewing and editing media releases Writing, reviewing and editing articles for The Flying Wheel Assisting with the development of social media content Performing other related duties as required The final candidate should be proficient in: Adobe Creative Cloud

Qualifications: Employment Requirements (all must be verified upon hire) To be eligible for an internship opportunity at the Ohio Department of Public Safety, an applicant must: Be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university. Be in good standing with the college/university. Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0. Be enrolled in at least one course. Be pursuing a degree or finishing a degree.
