Data Center Logistics Specialist
We are seeking a Data Center Logistics Specialist to join our Data Center Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of critical hardware components within our data center operations, ensuring seamless coordination of all logistics activities. You will work closely with the infrastructure team to build tooling and automation, analyzing routine tasks with an automation-first approach and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Focus: Manage inbound and outbound shipments of critical hardware components, ensuring timely delivery and proper handling of sensitive equipment Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems, conducting regular audits and reconciliations Coordinate with external logistics partners, carriers, and vendors to optimize shipping routes and reduce transportation costs Develop and implement automation solutions for logistics processes, creating written reports on improvement opportunities Ensure compliance with data center security protocols and chain of custody requirements for all hardware movements About You: 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, preferably in a technology or data center environment Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners Problem-solving mindset with demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and propose automation solutions Nice to haves: Experience with data center hardware components (servers, GPUs, networking equipment) Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures Certification in supply chain management (APICS, CSCMP) or logistics Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (Python, SQL) Benefits: Competitive total compensation package (cash + equity).
