JMT's Philadelphia Construction Management team is seeking a qualified and experienced Transportation Construction Inspector for highway, bridge, and other infrastructure projects within the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. The successful candidate will apply standard inspection procedures to construction activities on behalf of our clients (primarily PennDOT, PA Turnpike and other local agencies) for structural quality, general safety, and conformance to plans, specifications, and codes. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations. Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades, and/or pavement to ensure compliance to plans and codes. Makes field notes and computations. Gathers, reviews, and maintains project records (using PennDOT ECMS and other systems). Witness routine sampling and tests on concrete, soils, and other materials. Strong computer proficiency Active driver's license and reliable motor vehicle Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening Required Experience
