The Apple Services Engineering Security team builds and provides secure systems and infrastructure that fuel Apple's services (such as iCloud, Music, Siri, and the App Store). As part of the ASE Security team, you will help define and build the software to meet the security needs of Apple's services around the world. You will build foundational components in a secure way to ensure Apple's infrastructure meets Apple's needs and protects our data. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will play an important role in helping us build solutions to a variety of outstanding security challenges in the software foundational infrastructure. 7+ years of work experience in infrastructure or security engineering Experience in hypervisor software design and implementation Proficiency in one of the following languages: Rust, C, C++, Swift Experience working with and understanding design of distributed systems with high performance and availability Experience operating Linux and macOS, and scripting languages like Bash Understanding principles of building and deploying software, process, and monitoring (SDLC) Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 and $302,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
