Friday - Full Time Daytime Hours (occasional evening / weekend hours) Monthly Pretax Monthly Living Allowance: 1700 Hour Term - $2491.12 (48 Weeks) 1300 Hour Term - $2491.12 (37 Weeks) Term Education Award: 1700 Hour Term - $7395.00 1300 Hour Term - $5176.50 Additionally, loan forbearance (pause in loan payments) while serving in AmeriCorps Accrued interest while serving as an AmeriCorps member paid by AmeriCorps program Education Award Earned when term is successfully completed Other Benefits Include: Health Care Coverage Available (if eligibility requirements are met) Child Care (if eligibility requirements are met) Hands-on experience CPR/First Aid Certification Portfolio development A lifetime of service family and friends! Loan Deferment & Interest Forbearance: Individuals in approved AmeriCorps positions are eligible for forbearance for most federally guaranteed student loans. In addition, interest payments that accrue during service may be eligible for repayment by AmeriCorps. Generally, the Trust pays all interest for members serving full time who complete their term of service. All members must participate in a two-day pre-service training their first and second day of service via virtual training.
