Robert Half is looking for a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to join a team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a fully on-site, long-term contract Legal Assistant position designed for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in civil litigation and court filing procedures. The ideal Legal Assistant candidate will play a vital role in managing legal documentation, supporting attorneys, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. As a Legal Assistant your responsibilities will include but aren't limited too: Prepare and file legal documents using e-filing systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements. Assist attorneys in managing civil and complex litigation cases by organizing case files and maintaining detailed records. Coordinate and manage court filings, deadlines, and schedules to support legal proceedings. Maintain and update attorneys' calendars, including scheduling meetings, hearings, and other court-related appointments. Perform administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, managing office supplies, and liaising with court officials. Ensure all legal documentation is properly formatted and submitted within required timelines. Provide support during trial preparations, including organizing exhibits and coordinating logistics. Facilitate communication between attorneys, clients, and other legal professionals to ensure case progress. Research and gather information relevant to ongoing litigation cases. Monitor changes in court procedures and ensure adherence to updated filing requirements. The ideal Legal Assistant candidate will have the following: Proven experience in civil litigation, including familiarity with court procedures and filing systems. Proficiency in e-filing and knowledge of court filing processes. Strong organizational and calendar management skills, with attention to detail. Ability to handle complex litigation cases and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with attorneys, clients, and court officials. Proficient in using legal software and tools to manage case files and documentation. Capable of performing administrative duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Commitment to working fully on-site in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
