Ultrasound Technologist
Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision, and ultrasound (MSK & elastography). Scope of Work Under the direction of the site designated leader, assigns and monitors the work of the Ultrasonographers to optimize quality and efficiency. Acts as a resource for ultrasound staff/department. Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other related duties to ensure department policies and imaging standards are met. Qualifications Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent. 3-5 years' clinical experience Ultrasound staff sonographer level preferred. Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Must be registered in at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) at time of hire. Additional registry within 1 year from hire. Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross.
