Revenue Assistant
The Revenue Assistant is an integral part of Latham's Office Accounting team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Revenue Advisor and Revenue Coordinators in all aspects of the billing process, while finalizing invoices in line with internal and external regulation and legislation including Value-Added Tax (VAT), Criminal Finances Act Solicitor's Accounts Rules, and Money Laundering regulations. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Other key responsibilities include: Processing Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) write-offs as appropriate Applying Billed On Account balances as requested Supporting the Manager, Revenue Operations Advisor, Revenue Operations Coordinators, and E-billing Coordinators with ad hoc requests Processing time/costs transfers and narrative edits to timecards as required Liaising with Revenue Operations Coordinators to ensure all invoices are generated and queries are responded to in a timely manner Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains We'd love to hear from you if you: Demonstrate ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels within an organization Possess the ability to manage own workload and prioritize in order to meet deadlines Display good organizational skills And have: A high school diploma, A-Level graduate, or equivalent Prior work experience in a professional services environment, preferably Experience in using financial systems, preferably Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
