Advanced Decryption Engineer
Peraton is seeking an Advanced Decryption Engineer with a strong commitment to teamwork to join our team at the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will create efficient, powerful computing solutions that comply with specified government technical parameters and architectural standards. What You'll Do Create and optimize scripts for NVIDIA GPUs using diverse CPU coding frameworks, methodologies, and programming languages Integrate developed scripts into an automated distributed exploitation computing environment following government specification Maintain and support the distributed computing architecture utilizing standard servers and NVIDIA GPU technologies Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to key management and cryptographic standards Collaborate with onsite IT team to ensure all requirements are effectively implemented Facilitate continuous communication with stakeholders through regular updates, dashboards, and status meetings Qualifications Experience working with Linux and Red Hat environments. Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, Bash, Python, CUDA, etc. Active IAT Level II cert (or ability to obtain shortly after hire). Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly. Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of professional experience in a related discipline, or Master's degree and 6+ years, or PhD and 3+ years. Degree should be in one of the following fields: Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering. Additional 4+ years of relevant experience can be accepted in lieu of degree if the following qualification is met: Completion of Cyber 101 DoD/Military Training OR One or more active certifications: CCE CFR CySA+ GCFA GCFE Preferred Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and key management best practices. Experience in digital forensics (exploitation and examination). Intelligence Community (IC) experience. Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
