The role Production release manager Assume full ownership of end-to-end pre- and post-release processes Establish and own processes for release contents, including documentation, release notes, testing, coverage, quality measures, delivery. Manage bugs fixing process, issue resolutions and change requests and change management. Create and implement an end-to-end SW release plan and process, using JIRA workflows, for all stakeholders and steps. Keep release cadence and cycles - daily, weekly and major/long - to both internal and external customers. Track and report in a routine and timely manner - progress, internal MS, JAMA based requirements traceability, Report status of release issues. Implement release dashboards with high program visibility. Ensure release compliance with SOTIF, ISO26262 and ASPICE requirements. Proactively identify and report on release program gaps in teams and processes, and work closely with SW and product teams to implement critical corrective actions. Work closely with engineering teams to implement CI/CD solutions according to customer requirements for release. Key responsibilities Full responsibility for the release process and release cadence. Coordination of release work steps between all internal stakeholders. Alignment with external stakeholders, management of release process to customers. Manage change-control-board (CCB) with customers and internal stakeholders. Documentation, KPIs and traceability of the release process according to Wayve policies and automotive safety and quality standards. Supporting responsibilities Work with other groups to identify KPIs and develop methods for capturing them. Experience 10+ years of experience in managing release and release processes in the automotive industry, for external Tier1/Car-OEM customers with strong preference for ADAS and AV embedded SW applications. About you In order to set you up for success as a Product release manager at Wayve, we're looking for the following skills and experience. Essential skills Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO-26262 and SOTIF requirements and processes. Knowledge of Embedded SW CI/CD processes in the automotive industry. JIRA process and structure development and application JAMA based SW and product requirements management, Release automation frameworks GiT based branching process management Development of Metrics, KPIs, Reports and Dashboards using industry standard tools (Looker, Grafana) Experience in automotive industry - preferably in ADAS/AV related products. Preferred Knowledge of car-OEMs and Tier1 release and CI pipelines.
