We are seeking a skilled welder with expertise in FLUX CORE welding and the ability to read blueprints and tack welds. The ideal candidate should possess a clean attendance record and demonstrate proficiency in structural plate fitting and fabrication. The role involves operating hand saws and torches, MIG welding, tack welding, and performing general cleanup of the shop area and facility. Responsibilities

Perform FLUX CORE welding on pipe and plate with 2-3 years of experience. Read and interpret blueprints for fitting steel parts. Conduct structural plate fitting and fabrication on parts. Operate hand saws, torches, and overhead cranes. MIG weld and tack weld as required. Thread pipe and fit on pipe. Convert blueprints from metric system to English when necessary. Maintain cleanliness of the shop area and facility. Essential Skills

2-3 years of FLUX CORE welding experience. Ability to read blueprints and tack welds. Clean attendance record. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with MIG welding preferred. Ability to convert blueprints from metric to English. Familiarity with operating overhead cranes. Why Work Here?

The work shift is from 6am to 3pm or 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime available on Saturdays. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. The facility is very industrial, not climate controlled, and experiences extreme temperatures in winter and summer. This environment is suited for those accustomed to working in industrial settings. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
