Location: Farmingdale, NY Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM
6:00 AM) must be able to train on first shift Pay: $23/hour Looking for welder for a manufacturing company that fabricates steel frames and cabinets for server rooms, data centers, and other functional data storage & applications. The company is hiring due to growth within the data and technology industry, with demand increasing due to work-from-home and online retail. The Welding position is open due to this growth and requires experience with TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum metals. Candidates must be able to perform straight and plug welds to fabricate frames and shelving to customer specifications and must have experience welding and reading blueprints. Responsibilities:
Perform straight and plug welds to fabricate frames and shelving to customer specifications. Use TIG and MIG welding techniques on stainless steel and aluminum metals. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Ensure all welding is done according to safety regulations and standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Requirements:
Experience working in a manufacturing/industrial environment is required. Experience with MIG and TIG welding techniques Ability to weld stainless steel and aluminum metals. Experience with lap joints, tee joints, and butt joints. Skills in grinding, sanding, deburring, and fabrication. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
