Material Handler Forklift

Join our team as a Material Handler Forklift operator in a dynamic small warehouse environment. You'll be responsible for picking orders using a cherry picker, handling materials with a pallet jack, and performing packing, labeling, and shipping & receiving tasks. Responsibilities

Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions. Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles. Assemble customer orders for shipment via UPS/LTL. Process paperwork for shipments, ensuring accuracy in merchandise, postage, BOL information, and customer shipping instructions. Gather and verify quantities and descriptions of assembled orders. Pack orders into containers and arrange them on shelves according to truck routes. Verify quantities and items against invoices. Substitute for other warehouse personnel when needed. Utilize a scanner for Warehouse Management System tasks, including order picking and material put away after receipt. Essential Skills

Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs multiple times per shift. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience. Experience with Stand-Up Reach Truck or cherry picker (cherry picker preferred), forklift, RF scanner, loading, pallet jack, unloading, shipping and receiving, assembly, order picking, packaging, inventory, production, and warehouse packing. Excellent attendance record. Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime as needed. Available Shift & Pay

Work in a small warehouse operation that is not temperature-controlled but equipped with large fans for cooling. The shift is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm. Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of the Park 100 area of Indianapolis, Indiana. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
