Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors, and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customers organization. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Field Engineering Services Manager (Manager Field Engineering Services 1) to lead a team of Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and Mission Operation Representatives (MOR's) in Huntsville, AL. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. The position is a dual role encompassing both the leadership of individual contributors and technical performance in a Functional Management role supporting IBCS Production, Test, Training, and Fielding. Perform all functional management duties for direct reports, including career development/opportunity management, goal setting, promotion planning, execution of the annual performance review process, and providing regular performance feedback. Manage the workload of the employees and balance employee needs with business goals. Spend 10% of the time on manager-related activities and 90% of their time on Program related activities. Basic Qualifications: Applicant must have a program position in the Defense Sector which will support an 90% Program/10% Functional role. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead a diverse group. Demonstrated history of effective and productive relationships with company leadership and/or customer representatives Ability to lead in a mixed office / field environment. Ability to communicate effectively to internal assets and external customers. US Citizen with the ability to maintain an active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance Ability to work in a confined space. Ability to perform a 2 person lift by DoD definition. Preferred Qualifications: US Army Air Defense Artillery experience: Battle Management Systems, FAAD/3D, AMDWS, ADSI, Sentinel, and ADAM Cell. Ability to load IBCS prerequisites, software and LRU component Firmware. Experience leading team during software installation, operation, and system administration. The ability to load IBCS Software and operate in CWMI. Experience working with FSR/FSE/MOR teams. Experience supporting proposals, Writing BOEs, estimating effort to complete complex tasks. EVMS Familiarity. NG CAM Experience. This position is contingent upon the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Salary Range: $102,400.00 - $153,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
