As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through attentive observation and strong communication skills. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Greet visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk and provide a professional and welcoming presence. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures. Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and site activities. Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk as directed by site protocols. Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with general inquiries related to the location. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; prior experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
