Change Management PLM Systems Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Change Management PLM Systems Administrator to support one of our aerospace partners on-site in Midland, TX. The PLM Systems Administrator will be part of a high-growth initiative to scale production of a next-generation satellite constellation, with a target of six satellites per month by late 2025. This individual will play a key role in ensuring configuration control, data integrity, and system synchronization across engineering, manufacturing, and quality systems in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities for the PLM Systems Administrator include: Serve as the primary administrator for Autodesk Fusion 360 Manage PLM, including user support, system configuration, and workflow optimization. Manage engineering change control (ECO/ECR), document release, and configuration baselines across the product lifecycle. Ensure synchronization between PLM, ERP, MES, and CAD systems, resolving data discrepancies and integration issues. Support new part introduction (NPI), BOM management, and configuration tracking for satellite hardware. Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and user guides. Generate reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track system performance and compliance. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to improve data traceability and change management processes. Liaise with third-party vendors and internal IT to support system upgrades, licensing, and performance improvements. Qualifications for the PLM Systems Administrator include: 3+ years of experience administering PLM systems (e.g., Fusion 360 Manage, Windchill, Teamcenter). 4+ years of experience in change management, configuration control, or engineering data management. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical fieldor equivalent experience. Familiarity with ERP and MES systems (e.g., NetSuite, Solumina), and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor). Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check. Compensation for the PLM Systems Administrator includes: Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
