Unified Communications Lead

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Unified Communications Lead to join our team in Camp Springs, MD. This is a hybrid position. This position will support a federal agency's core Unified Communications (UC) systems. This role requires expert knowledge in operating, configuring, managing, and providing troubleshooting and restoration services for various critical UC functional systems. The lead is essential for ensuring the successful mission of UC operations by leading other subject matter experts in response to and initiation of restorative actions on all core UC systems. Key Responsibilities: Operates, maintains, and integrates all Unified Communication (UC) technologies implemented by the federal agency. Provides troubleshooting and restoration services for key functional systems including Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Expressways, Cisco WebEx, Polycom RMX Bridge, Polycom DMA, Polycom Resource Manager, Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, Cisco Meeting Server, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Avaya video phones, Avaya Communicator, vBrick Media-Streaming systems, and Microsoft Teams. Validates delivery performance through the analysis of packets, protocols, and Quality of Service (QoS) functionality using service optimization and NetFlow analysis. Provides key interoperability and functional testing with engineering teams and assists vendors and other subject matter experts with expertise in furthering unified communications support goals. Provides guidance for Unified Communications field technicians for all daily incident handling and restorative issues. Documents all UC systems and provides input into the deliverables required of leadership. They also act as the overall expert in the operations, maintenance, and daily performance analysis of all core UC hardware and software systems. They lead other subject matter experts in the response to and initiation of restorative actions on all UC Core systems. They are responsive and provide work direction to the team for all critical/high-profile UC Core related issues and tickets. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a Unified Communications environment with a Cisco CCNP Collaboration, CTS, CTS-D, and CTS-I Experience in UC systems including Polycom RMX Bridge, Polycom DMA, Polycom Resource Manager, Avaya video phones, Avaya Communicator, vBrick Media-Streaming systems, and Microsoft Teams. Experience in VoIP Demonstrated experience in automation of routine tasks and associated industry leading toolsets Preferred Qualifications: Cisco CCIE Collaboration Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with the ability to pass USCIS background investigation (public trust) Physical Requirements: Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office. Ability to travel (car or air) and present at conferences or meetings. The projected compensation range for this position is $114,100.00-$191,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
