Senior AWS Cloud Platform Engineer

Silotech Group is hiring a Senior AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to provide expert-level support for containerized deployments and Kubernetes orchestration on the JCC2 Enterprise Service Center program. This position is vital for managing cloud-native platforms across AWS GovCloud and classified environments. Location Onsite in San Antonio, TX. Limited remote work may be approved by the PMO. Clearance Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of Kubernetes-based application infrastructure across all environments. Configure and optimize AWS services such as EKS, EC2, CloudFormation, and Lambda. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Helm, Terraform, and Ansible. Support application deployments, upgrades, and scaling strategies across security domains. Build resilient cloud architectures and enforce security/compliance controls. Collaborate with development and cybersecurity teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines. Maintain system monitoring, logging, and performance dashboards. Support DevSecOps practices and secure cluster configurations. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience
6-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud platform engineering, or infrastructure automation. Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS container services (EKS, ECS). Experience with containerized pipelines, GitOps workflows, and hybrid/monolithic deployments. Certifications
IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE). Required: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Preferred: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Administrator, or AWS DevOps Engineer. Desired Skills
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Java, Bash, Python). Experience with secure multi-enclave deployments. Familiarity with DoD container security policies and Iron Bank containers.
