Account Executive

Prove is looking for an Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding sales organization. The ideal candidate will have experience running a full sales cycle closing net new business with SMB and Mid Market accounts across all industries. Key responsibilities include: Identify and prospect potential small and medium-sized businesses target accounts for specific Prove Products/Solutions. Conduct outbound calls and emails to engage with accounts, introduce the software solution, and qualify their needs. Build strong relationships with prospective customers and coordinate product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of the identity verification software. Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of each prospect. Effectively communicate pricing, contracts, and negotiation terms to potential customers, aiming to close deals and achieve sales targets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM and SEP software. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to effectively position the software solution and differentiate it from competitors. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, generate leads, and promote the identity verification software solution. Collaborate with marketing teams to provide feedback on lead generation campaigns, customer insights, and suggest improvements to sales collateral. Qualifications and experience include: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in an inside sales or B2B environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Previous experience with strong negotiation and closing skills preferred. Ability to navigate objections and handle customer concerns effectively. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive and persistent approach to achieving sales goals. 2+ years SDR/BDR and/or sales experience, preferably in the identity verification or cybersecurity space, to small and medium-sized accounts, or previous experience as a Prove Sales Development Representative (SDR). Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced sales environment. Proficiency in using CRM and SEP software to manage leads, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records. Knowledge of the identity verification industry, including familiarity with regulatory compliance and security requirements, is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers. Willingness to travel occasionally to attend industry events and meet with key accounts. The anticipated salary range for this role is $70,000- $80,000 plus variable commission / company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
