Northrop Grumman's Strategic Space Systems Division has an opening for a Business Management Manager 3. The Business Management Manager 3 will report to the Business Management Director. Critical success factors for candidates will include a dynamic leadership presence, highly collaborative work style, the ability to anticipate problems, proactively deal with difficult situations and communicate appropriately with all levels of stakeholders. The candidate selected for this role must have strong organizational, problem-solving and closure skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and demonstrate interpersonal skills with different stakeholders and levels of professionals and management. In this job, you will: Leadership of business management functions including cost, financials, scheduling, contracts, and pricing Oversee staffing, performance management and coaching development of the Business Management professional staff In coordination with GSC (Global Supply Chain), develop vendor fee plan that drives accountability, cost/schedule performance, that ensures a successful supplier delivery Deliver financial/program performance briefing to Division/Sector Leadership, with a thorough understanding of program performance, vendor progress, risks/opportunities, with an ability to convey difficult concepts and financials performance in an executive level briefing. Provide financial advice and courses of action, scenarios/trades, and that maximizes program financial performance Develop customer CFSR and funding profiles in coordination with program management to ensure the program is fully funded. Participate in the business capture/proposal activity oversight to corporation commitment authorities and negotiation yields Collaboration with Cost Management and Program Management to develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) Manage program financial performance including NCTA and capital investments Financial accounting/reporting, including Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessment/reviews, cash flow/balance sheet management, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and business system oversight Support as required with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Internal Audit and Deloitte & Touche (D&T) This position requires the incumbent to possess a Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and/or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI). Bachelor's Degree and years 10 years of experience in Business Administration, Business Finance or Accounting to include Cost Control OR a Master's Degree and 8 years of stated experience Active DoD TS and/or SCI Clearance Leadership experience Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) High level of proficiency MS Office Tools Master's Degree Current or previous experience working with restricted customer Experience with Northrop Grumman Space Systems reporting tools If this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!
