Repair Engineer

The Repair Engineer will own the inspection, repair, and reporting for Power Nozzle Repair components. This includes developing work scopes, repair plans, and rework as needed. The Repair Engineer will also work closely with the AMRT, tracking PCO and working projects to reduce cost. This role includes customer reporting and supporting customer visits as needed. The Repair Engineer is involved with Type 2 problem solving, FPY tracking, and supporting BiQ initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities

Drive safety and quality initiatives within the cell Use technical data to develop work scopes and repair plans for customer owned repair sets Develop initial and final repair reports for customers and support customer inspections Drive job cost out through cost tracking and continuous improvement projects Work alongside AMRT to develop and implement PCO projects Support Type 2 problem solving & BiQ Work with internal stakeholders to disposition nonconforming material and devise remediation actions Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years professional work experience) Minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain Eligibility Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future This position is 100% onsite position at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington site Desired Characteristics

Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical or related fields Demonstrated knowledge of GE systems Prior Gas Turbine component experience and knowledge preferred Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications Ability to plan, communicate and execute Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills High attention to detail and accuracy Inclusive; builds a connection with the team through personal involvement and trust For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $90,400.00 - $120,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on or after August 15, 2025. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
