Job Opportunity: Dietary Cook At Windsor Laurelwood Center For Behavioral Health

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Cook to provide nutritious meals and snacks to our patients, maintain a clean kitchen and dining room, and who is able to follow recipes, meal and diet plans on a per diem basis. Typical Dietary Cook hours are 5:30am-1pm and 11am-6pm. It takes passion and dedication to meet the behavioral health needs of our community. For over 100 years, Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, located in Willoughby, Ohio, has provided high-quality behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services to adults, adolescents, and children. Must have the ability to work effectively with and for people. Serve Safe Certification required in first year of employment, provided by the facility. Experience: Two (2) years food preparation experience preferred. Healthcare or volume food preparation experience preferred. License/Certification: Serve Safe is strongly desired. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally works in the kitchen with exposure to heat from ovens, hot foods, cleaning chemicals, equipment and metal objects. Employees also work with knives, mixers, dicer's, slicers and other sharp objects. The noise level is moderate, but can be loud at times depending on specific times of day.
