American University Washington College of Law (AUWCL) seeks applications for the 2026-2027 academic year for one full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor, with interest in criminal law and related fields. Candidates must hold a J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree by the date of their application. We seek candidates who will be innovative and productive scholars, exemplary teachers, and dynamic and engaged members of the AUWCL community. Salary ranges are: assistant professor, $150,000-$175,000; associate professor, $168,000-$180,000; professor, $177,000-$210,000 (disclosure pursuant to D.C. law).
