Job Title: Product Designer

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our UX Design Team at Liberty Global Risk Solutions, reporting to the Head of Digital Product Design and User Experience. A product designer who collaborates and operates using a user-centric approach, continuously optimizes the quality and value of the outputs, and measures and monitors the outcomes' impact. Working on regional and global initiatives, with teams and stakeholders at various offices and locations; also in conjunction and collaboration with our wider Liberty Mutual Group colleagues, leveraging our global reach, expertise, and assets. In this role, the product designer will plan, facilitate, and assess experience discovery and ideation activities to define and design the required UX deliverables: user flows, journey maps, persona development, business results, objectives, and priorities alignment, wireframes, UI considerations, prototypes, user testing and research, technical feasibility alignment, optimization tests, and more according to UX best practices and as relevant to the experience, digital, and business strategies. Working under general direction, in partnerships with the business, development teams, and product leads to understand the business vision and objectives to help identify opportunities for competitive advantage. Creating user-centered design solutions that feature ease of use, employ best-in-class interaction design, and optimize the user experience. The User Experience team strives to increase adoption and improve ease of use of our products to delight our internal and external customers. We do that by building a deep understanding of users' behaviors, needs and goals. In collaboration with teams across the organization, we support experiences that represent touchpoints and interactions our customers have with products and identify ways to improve their experiences by testing and learning. Liberty Mutual GRS consists of GRS North America, Liberty Specialty Markets, and Global Surety and goes to market in geographies across the globe under several brands. Responsibilities

Under general direction, creates user experience and visual design solutions for assigned projects (or a functional area) based on business objectives and user research. Optimizes multi-step user flows using various design tools (e.g. experience and service design maps, journey maps, concepts, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes). Maintains the defined UX and brand standards in the execution of visual, interaction and motion design. Proposes changes or new standards as needed and contributes to pattern library with markup. Participates in the objective-setting and discovery process, including user persona development and interpreting user goals, and may lead some user research activities under supervision of Research Team. Collects and interprets results of user research, concept testing, and usability testing to make design recommendations. Acts as an advocate for the end user within a cross-functional team. Works collaboratively by sharing designs early and often, seeking constructive feedback and integrating feedback to improve solutions. Skills and Experience

Ability to design, create and work towards an overall product design vision that meets and enhances user experiences and business goals across the company. Relevant experience as a UX/product designer with demonstrable track record of moderate to complex design solutions. Experience in working on multiple-integrations, operationally complicated software. Proven experience of branding implementation, design systems, style guides, UX patterns and workflows. Confident using popular design, prototyping, discovery and user testing methods and tools such as Figma, Miro, Unmoderated/Moderated User testing. Experience using data analytics for monitoring performance and action optimization decisions. Experience working in Agile environments and with Development teams. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Highly skilled at critical decision-making; ability to evaluate business issues and resolve problems. Ability to consider long-term sustainability in all design decisions and maintain an eye for reusability in designs. Experience facilitating and collaborating with multiple product managers with specialized responsibilities. Understand Accessibility standards and how they impact design and product development. Be a champion for Accessibility and advise the team on compliance. Qualifications

As typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience in a related field: Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup Familiarity with the following core disciplines, with demonstrated proficiency in at least two: visual design, UX design, prototyping, front-end development, user research and/or experiment design Exceptional written and oral communication skills Ability to present projects and status reports to team leadership Strong organization and analytic thinking skills, with ability to translate content into user scenarios, flows and diagrams Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
