Electrical Utility Project Manager
Core Responsibilities: Lead electrical utility projects including underground distribution, substations, and renewable energy installations. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to align project goals. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Prepare and review technical documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve field issues. Mentor and support field staff and junior project engineers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience managing electrical infrastructure projects. Proven track record in utility-scale electrical work, preferably in civil or heavy construction environments. Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Heavyjob, Procore, Primavera, MS Project). Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Salary on offer for this position is between $130k and $155k plus vehicle allowance, healthcare, dental, vision 401k and annual bonus. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
