Job Title
Production Maintenance Tech II Performs preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on mechanical and basic electrical production equipment and systems. Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Determines and completes equipment repairs. Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system. Key Responsibilities
Proficiency in more complex maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting mechanical issues, repairing equipment, and performing preventative maintenance. Ability to operate and maintain more advanced tools and equipment, such as welding machines, lathes, and multimeters. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Experience in diagnosing and fixing issues in machinery, such as motors, pumps, and conveyor systems. Understanding of maintenance best practices, including predictive maintenance and condition monitoring. Solid understanding of maintenance principles and the ability to apply them in various situations. Operate light, medium and heavy industrial equipment in support of equipment and facility maintenance. Ability to document maintenance activities and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Capability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, managing time and resources effectively. Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: 2-5 years of experience in maintenance or active enrollment in an apprenticeship program. Required Qualifications: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing tasks efficiently. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery. Preferred Qualifications: Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance is preferred. Journeyman certification or equivalent in a related trade (e.g., millwright, industrial maintenance) is preferred. Performance Expectations

The position is based in a manufacturing facility, which may involve exposure to loud noises, varying temperatures, and dust from production processes.
