We are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join the Redwood Falls Manufacturing Engineering Team and serve our electronic assembly area. Process engineers are responsible for developing, implementing, improving, and providing training on the tools, techniques, and documentation necessary to bring raw materials to life in the products we use every day. Our process engineers work as a team to provide the knowledge and expertise necessary to transform raw material and parts into stunning display systems that inform and entertain audiences every day. The selected individual will support highly automated Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) processes and apply standards created for them. This role is also responsible for continuous improvements, problem solving, new product introductions, engineering design changes, and implementation of new equipment. Other responsibilities will include participation in corporate-wide improvement teams as well as factory objectives in other areas of engineering support. Where is this opportunity located? Position located in Redwood Falls, MN. What are the pay and perks? The typical hiring range for this position is $68,000 to $75,000 annually based on the location of Redwood Falls, Minnesota. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including relevant education, experiences, location, and applicable local legislation. To be considered for Process Engineer, we require the following: Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or similar engineering degree. Knowledge of circuit board assembly and components preferred. Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through Hole (TH). Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Creo 3D modeling or ability to learn. Knowledge of and/or capacity to learn the programming of equipment such as component placement, soldering, automated inspection, encapsulation, etc. Strong organizational and presentation skills and self-motivation are required. Physical requirements: Combination of standing and sitting for the full shift. Frequently: Distinguish and identify colors. Read fine print. Work around odors (solder, paint, solvent, manufacturing odor). Occasionally: Lift and carry up to 45 lbs. and/or awkward items. Have a full range of motion required to perform the job functions. Maintain steady hand-eye coordination. Reach in all directions and potentially awkward positions. Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment. Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Motor vehicle records will be checked. Fluent in English, written and verbal. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
