Join Our Team! Lvn - Psychiatric Unit Position

Located at Corona Regional Rehabilitation Center in Corona, CA, this full-time/day shift position reports to the Nurse Manager and Director of Behavioral Health Services. This role requires accountability for the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to your care. Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in the application of nursing process skills to deliver quality care to those with serious and persistent mental illness. Work in conjunction with the Charge Nurse and may function as Relief Charge Nurse, as needed. Corona Regional Medical Center, established in 1965, has evolved to meet the needs of the community. Qualifications: Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diagnosis(es), terminology, and medical record charting. Ability to work with minimal supervision. At least two (2) years experience working with clients with serious and persistent mental illness, preferably one of those years in an inpatient setting. Excellent verbal and written skills. Education: Assaultive Behavior Management Training required within 90 days from date of hire. Required Licenses/Certifications: Current California LVN license required. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
