Security Guard Position
Security Guard Position at Fort Knox, KY (On-Site/Office) Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service by enforcing safety protocols, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations in a calm, solution-focused manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to ensure security compliance. Manage access control at the facility's entry point by following the daily access roster and verifying identities before granting entry. Maintain detailed records of all personnel onsite, including their entry and exit times. Ensure full accountability of all individuals entering or exiting the facility and surrounding grounds. Respond to IDS (Intrusion Detection System) alarms within mandated timeframes, in accordance with AR 190-11, AR 190-13, and DODM 5200.01 Volume 3. Initial responses will follow observe-and-report procedures, escalating as needed. Monitor CCTV systems from the guard station and promptly report any suspicious activity to Government management. Perform regular security and safety inspections of the Administration Building and Ammunition Supply Point, logging activity on applicable SF 702 forms. Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI clearance. Be flexible and available to work across multiple shifts, including weekends.
