The Vendor Relations Representative is responsible for direct contact with vendors ensuring they are complying with DSG's supply chain programs, requirements, and initiatives. This position will work as the liaison between the vendor, merchandising teams, DC Operations, and Logistics. Teammates in this position collect and analyze data from various programs and compile a consistent message of the vendor's overall performance related to inventory accuracy and compliance in order to communicate and work with the vendor on action plans and improvements to meet all requirements outlined in the DSG Supply Chain Guide. Vendor Collaboration
Complete daily tasks triggered by vendors in DSG's Vendor Compliance portal disputing or requesting details related to compliance chargebacks providing additional details and support for resolution Review all detail related to chargebacks confirming and validating accurate detail is provided Communicate with vendors to determine root causes for compliance issues and determine corrective actions. Organize vendor meetings through TEAMs calls including additional supply chain and logistics teams. Gather and prepare agenda topics from all teams. Provide follow up notes and action items in OneNote. Support to vendors during EDI set up and testing Support to new vendors through onboarding providing guidance setting them up for success Internal Collaboration with DCs and Various CSC Departments
Provide updates on vendor performance issues as needed to VR Manager Support DCs on vendor issues to resolve as quickly and efficiently as possible Liaison between DCs and Merchandising teams on specific vendor issues or DC requests for clarification of compliance issues Support communication related to all new DSG initiatives Additional Tasks
Compile and prepare various weekly and monthly supply chain compliance reports following SOPs related to chargebacks reviewing for accuracy prior to uploading or approving in the compliance program Identify opportunities for improvement during review of weekly chargebacks Enter chargeback data into GTNexus/Tradecard for Import vendor Review/complete additional tasks related to chargebacks for final approval Respond to email requests from all VR mailboxes Update SOPs as needed when changes are made to internal processes Data Collection and Reporting
Assembling information from various programs to provide full compliance issue to vendor Review weekly and monthly compliance data to determine vendor opportunities for improvement Qualifications
Associate's Degree 1-3 years of experience Working knowledge of supply chain systems (PKMS, EDI, PMMS/JDA, TMS preferred)
