Business Solutions team to execute on USBAM's strategy and portfolio of initiatives with emphasis on the marketing product. This role will be responsible for partnering with product leadership, product management, key stakeholders, and technology to execute on the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap of initiatives and evolving improvements. Partners with product leadership, product manager, key stakeholders, and technology to execute on the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap of initiatives and evolving improvements for the assigned product. Expert in marketing technologies & processes that align with the business & customer needs Integrates technical outcomes in alignment with business objectives, ensuring solutions meet business requirements. Drives ongoing product development with ownership of the backlog; actively engages & collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders & development teams to enable faster speed to market while ensuring adherence to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Leverages OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to drive roadmap priorities. Primarily focused on the tactical
backlog management, user stories, & development execution Manages & prioritizes the product backlog within the product's broader vision, writes user stories, ensures development aligns with requirements. Partners with other product and project teams within Business Solutions and enterprise product teams to map, reduce, and manage dependencies, and cross-team planning. Performs detailed analysis, & captures current state, future state, and gap analysis. Elicits functional and non-functional business requirements from stakeholders and partners with technology and enterprise product teams to ensure traceability to design. Coordinates the test planning and execution through user acceptance. Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, collaborating across different teams and leadership levels Understands elements of and approaches to marketing strategy and positioning. Conducts business data analysis
collects, identifies, analyzes, and interprets business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements. Interprets and documents the findings of data analysis to support the decision-making process. Participates in the process of determining KPIs and metrics to influence decisions. Creates and maintains roadmap-based backlog priorities with appropriate Features/Epics/Stories. Also creates personas and story maps to create a shared understanding of the customers/users Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes concerns. Assesses risks, benefits, impacts on business strategy, and consideration of alternatives, and forms strategic options Looks beyond user stories to identify key backlog priorities and runs regular refinement sessions to ensure backlog prioritization commensurate with evolving customer and industry needs Strong understanding of design-thinking methodologies and understanding how to coordinate and participate in design thinking sessions. Recommend new products and services based on changing customer needs and success criteria. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Product Management experience 5 to 8 years of Product Owner experience Preferred Qualifications: Asset management industry experience Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics Knowledge of technical aspects of software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products Knowledge of Agile ways of working, knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations Strong communication, Interpersonal, and organizational skills Well-developed ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog Well-developed ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work Skilled at Visio for creating process flows and swim lane diagrams Thorough understanding of the Lean/Agile mindset Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer navigation skills Standard industry certifications such as SAFe, CSPO, or PSPO are preferred The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
