School Nursing Program
The School Nursing Program provides healthcare access to over 90,000 students, in 31 school districts throughout the State of Michigan. Nurses provide onsite care, rounding, and triage services. The program's objective is to provide health care resources to schools, by partnering with districts to fit their needs. The nurse helps to manage acute illness, injury and chronic health conditions for their students by partnering with districts to fit their needs. This position will support Montcalm ISD, including Specialized Care (1:1) nursing services for one building. Embedded within the school district to support students with health needs. Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent Successful completion of orientation and introductory period Required Experience with medically fragile children.
