Key Responsibilities: Perform initial patient assessments and obtain relevant clinical history and laboratory values to support accurate diagnostic imaging. Communicate preliminary findings to supervising radiologists and dictate preliminary reports. Perform imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, Barium and Gastrografin procedures, arthrogram injections, Paracentesis and Thoracentesis, Pain/Steroid injections, Port injections, Cystograms, Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, Nephrostomy tube injections/exchanges, NG tube insertion. Monitor and ensure patient safety, comfort, and understanding during imaging exams. Provide patient education regarding procedures and post-procedure care. Review radiographs with supervising Radiologist and perform preliminary dictations. Collaborate with radiology technologists, nurses, and referring physicians to ensure seamless coordination of care. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologist Assistant educational program. ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologist Assistant (R.R.A). Minimum of 3 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, preferably in a hospital or large clinic setting.
