Summary
We are seeking a
Senior Business Analyst
to lead collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development, and user story writing to support development and deployment. Facilitate the gathering of business focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the users perspective is considered. Identify core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories; document business rules and construct workflow diagrams as needed. Provide consultation on complex projects while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. Document detailed specifications, workflows, and user stories to guide development teams. Manage and prioritize user tickets, collaborating with developers and leadership to ensure timely resolution. Maintain and refine the product backlog, ensuring high-value features are clearly defined and prioritized for each sprint. Support program requirements in areas such as: Cloud IT acquisition
Web communication Business management and scheduling Critical path analysis Support requirement analysis
Conduct impact studies, cost/benefit analyses, and dependency modeling. Apply project tracking methodologies to ensure program success and efficiency. Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Psychology or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline 7 - 9 years of professional experience Required Skills/Technologies
Gathering and analyzing business requirements supporting application development leveraging end-user requirements and decomposing those into well-structured requirements (epics/stories) Analyzing current business process/flow and provide recommendations for improvements Confidently communicating and validating requirements with relevant stakeholders Working knowledge of requirements management tools (Such as JIRA, TFS, etc..)
