team in Raritan, NJ! CAR-T is an advanced therapy that uses the patient's own immune system to fight the disease. The patient's T-cells are genetically modified to eliminate cancer cells. This groundbreaking, innovative technology offers a hopeful outlook to patients for whom other therapies have no or insufficient effect. Summary: The Vein-to-Vein Planning organization is a global team focused on enhancing the patient journey for cell therapies through planning and logistics support. The Americas V2V Senior Manager is an exciting opportunity to lead people leaders of our largest CAR-T commercial region that is still expanding. This critical role serves as the Supply Chain counterpart to the US and LATAM commercial leaders to run smooth day-to-day operations while enabling more demand in an unconstrained market by supporting different alternative models as needed. This role will partner with its regional counterparts to harmonize V2V processes globally. As a leader of a large organization, talent and resource management are key to success. Key Responsibilities: People leader of people leaders (V2V Managers). Drive a culture of high performance and support the personal development of your team members.
Support the team in patient material delivery through end-to-end process with local teams & partners in meeting local supply/demand requirements.
Lead regional escalation communication on any issues that impact patient manufacturing or experience.
Identify and support improvements to existing operating models to increase patient experience and reach
Partner on harmonizing V2V processes across the regions to one global V2V way of working.
Responsible for regional supply chain performance on patient journey lead time and capacity utilization.
Support partnerships (internally & externally) that help ensure CARVYKTI is the preferred cell therapy based on experience, not only clinical efficacy.
Manage headcount & budget requirements while maintaining strong talent pipeline and development of future leaders.
Qualifications: Education : A minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University degree is required, Master’s Degree preferred with a focus in Engineering (Commercial).
Experience and Skills: Required: Minimum 8 years of a related professional experience
3+ years of people leadership experience
Operations experience within Supply Chain (Plan, Source, Make or Deliver)
Self-starter with a critical mentality to help challenge the status quo, identify risks and shape new processes in an operational context
Ability to lead in an ambiguous environment by sensing and influencing interdependencies across multiple functions
Effective communication skills (candid, concise, active listening)
Positive can-do attitude when dealing with challenges
Strong self-awareness & open for giving/receiving feedback
Preferred: Experience interacting with commercial partners
Experience working in a GMP environment
Experience in Advanced Therapy within Pharmaceutical industry
Other: Requires up to 10% domestic & international travel.
