Position Summary: Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, but requiring technical approval of finished radiographs. Assists radiologist in performing fluoroscopic exams. Performs all duties with accord to the mission, vision, and values of St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. Job Duties: Performs all general, surgical, specialty, vascular, cardiac, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine radiography procedures efficiently and produces films of consistently high quality. Consistently cleans and prepares rooms between patients for each exam. Demonstrates ability to safely operate all equipment in an efficient manner and ensures it is in appropriate working condition. Processes images recognizing potential image transfer problems. Obtains adequate patient history; prepares images for interpretation; and assures correct information is included on each image. Must have successfully completed all courses and currently completing the final semester of the radiological program. BLS required within six months of employment. Proven work history.
