Huntington Ingalls Industries Mission Technologies Warfare Systems Position
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the Department of Defense (DoD) and the defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. This position oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing procurements and serves as a liaison between project management and program control, finance, knowledge management, contracts/sub-contracting management, security, planning, project team, and procurement specialists. The role also involves managing Government-Provided Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) in accordance with FAR 245.52-1. Minimum qualifications include: 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Master's in related field; 0 years experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Must possess an active Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Effective oral and written communication abilities. Preferred requirements include: Experience working in defense or intelligence environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Security+, PMP). The listed salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities.
