Construction Administrator
We are actively seeking a Construction Administrator to join a well-established, full-service architecture and engineering design firm specializing in educational, athletic, and commercial projects. This role is based in the metro Atlanta area. About the Role: As a Construction Administrator, you will be the key liaison between project stakeholderstracking progress, managing documentation, and ensuring seamless communication between contractors, clients, and the internal design team. If you have a strong foundation in commercial construction, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset, this could be your next great opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Conduct weekly site visits to track construction progress Prepare field reports summarizing observations and updates Attend OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings Coordinate with contractors, clients, and internal staff Review/respond to RFIs and shop drawings Approve pay requests and process change orders Assist in resolving construction-related issues in the field Perform punch list observations and issue letters of substantial completion Collect close-out documentation and assist with warranty follow-ups Required Qualifications: 35 years of experience in commercial construction inspection or management Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Solid understanding of engineering systems, building processes, and project documentation Strong organizational and time-management skills Detail-oriented and customer service-driven Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Company Culture: This team fosters a collaborative, client-focused environment where projects are fast-paced, rewarding, and meaningful.
