Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst/Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get To Do: Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Participating in month-end Earned Value reporting close activities. This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. You'll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 0 years of related professional experience - OR - 4 additional years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of related professional experience - OR - a PhD with 1 year of related professional experience. 4 additional years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. Required for Both Level(s): Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.). Experience with MS Project, P6 Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Deltek Acumen, or other Schedule Risk Assessment software tools. Strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel. Experience with data analytics. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Active DoD Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years). US citizenship is a prerequisite. Active SCI (SSBI) or DoD Top Secret security clearance (with a full investigation within the past 6 years). Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling. 1+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience. Experience with Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment tools. Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Excel Macro/VBA Skills. Experience working in Microsoft Project Server Environment. Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience. Strong analytical ability.
