The Principal Business Process Analyst serves as the subject matter expert on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) to support Global Supply Chain processes across the Boston Scientific network. This role partners with global supply chain leaders to influence and orchestrate business processes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions that resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time. Your Responsibilities Include
Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) Process and Kinaxis - Rapid Response (cloud-based supply chain planning system) Leading projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes Optimizing solutions for scalability to support monthly SI&OP orchestration activities Communicating key priorities, initiatives and best practices to the Global Supply Chain Planning community Driving processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across SAP, Kinaxis - Rapid Response, and other supporting systems Creating content to deliver process training to the Global Supply Chain Planning community Evaluating and resolving issues related to the business use of implemented systems or processes; partner with the Center of Excellence (COE) and external partners to identify acceptable solutions Creating and distributing insightful reports to drive action and preparedness throughout the SI&OP process Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field Minimum 4 years of experience with business processes, demand and/or supply chain planning Experience using Kinaxis/Maestro Rapid Response platform Strong project management with ability to navigate ambiguous situations successfully Experience facilitating change management with ability to influence internal teams; strong decision-making skills Experience with SAP / ERP systems and advanced supply chain planning software Ability to travel up to 10% globally Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification(s) such as APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management), CPIM (Certified Planning and Inventory Management, IBF (Institute of Business Forecasting), CPF (Certified Professional Forecaster) or ACPF (Advanced Certified Professional Forecaster) Flexible with the ability to adjust and adapt to new ideas and processes Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach; strong analytical problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with individuals on all levels Detail oriented and organized with a high level of accuracy in all tasks performed
