Mesilla Valley Hospital has been in operation since 1987, serving those in need of treatment for a variety of psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Mesilla Valley Hospital is a 120-bed facility, providing access to quality behavioral healthcare and substance abuse treatment to residents of New Mexico, West Texas and Arizona. MVH is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. Position Summary
The Office Manager will run day-to-day business functions for outpatient services and is accountable to the Outpatient Services Director. In addition the Office manager provides support to staff, oversees inventory and supplies orders, supervises all non-clinical staff, and must be well-versed in problem-solving including de-escalation techniques. The Office Manager participates as an integral member of the outpatient team by registering/admitting patients, assisting with patient billing and insurance verification/authorizations as needed, and providing administrative/clerical support. Qualifications
Experience/Education: Associate's Degree required, preferred in psychology, business management or administration with one year clerical and/or social service experience, preferably in a health care setting. Skills: Skill in organizing and prioritizing workload. Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation in reports and communications. Ability to perform basic office clerical functions, including filing, computer skills and customer service. Benefit Highlights
