Apply for this position as a Molecular Technologist in New, Haven Connecticut for full-time, permanent hire. Schedule - Monday-Friday, day hours Position Overview: The Medical Technologist is responsible for the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processing of patient samples to assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They also ensure the proper maintenance and regulatory compliance of laboratory equipment. Responsibilities: Conduct laboratory protocols and experiments under the guidance of the supervisor/manager. Handle sample intake, RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, and qRT-PCR. Perform data analysis and maintain general lab equipment. Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and validate new tests and equipment. Maintain laboratory training and meet continuing education requirements. Skills: Ability to stand for long periods and multitask. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong research, analysis, and communication abilities. Ability to follow biohazard protocols and read instructions closely. Qualifications and Experience: A degree (doctoral, master's, or bachelor's) in a relevant scientific or medical technology field from an accredited institution.
