Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Fontana, CA | Full-Time | On-Site | $100,000$120,000 Are you a hands-on EHS leader ready to take ownership of critical safety programs in a high-impact industrial environment? We're seeking a proactive and experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS operations across two Southern California facilities, with a primary focus on the Fontana site. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role supporting production, regulatory compliance, and operational safety in a 24/7 ISO 9001:2015-certified manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and directly oversee an EHS Admin and 8 internal inspectors. What You'll Do
Own and manage all EHS programs, including: SWPPP, SPCC, RMP, CUPA, IIPP, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Respiratory Protection Oversee hazardous materials programs, including chlorine gas and molten aluminum Ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA, AQMD, CUPA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and incident investigations Track incidents and compliance metrics using Excel and network-based documentation Collaborate with Maintenance and Production to implement preventative safety measures Maintain and update regulatory documentation and reports What You Bring
510+ years of EHS experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments Strong working knowledge of California environmental and safety regulations Proven ownership of EHS programs and regulatory documentation Experience managing hazardous materials (chlorine gas, molten aluminum preferred) Intermediate Excel proficiency (manual tracking, no digital EHS system) OSHA 30 certification required; HAZWOPER, ASP/CSP preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Familiarity with ERP systems (AX Dynamics a bonus) Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field Why This Role?
