Flying Squadron Contract (FSC) Scheduler

The position will work as a Flying Squadron Contract (FSC) Scheduler at NAS Lemoore, CA. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team to fulfill F-35 training objectives. The FSC Scheduler will be assigned duties in a Flying Squadron and must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet squadron flying window requirements. The FSC Scheduler will interface with the PTC Schedulers and the flying squadron to facilitate student pilot throughput. FSC Schedulers will coordinate with staff agencies to schedule airspace, tanker and other support assets. Schedulers will work with the Training Management System (TMS) and Sierra Hotel Aviation Readiness Program (SHARP) to schedule instructors, students and resources, including classroom, pilot training devices and flight schedules. Tasks include processing, tracking, documenting, scheduling and generating routine reports. Scheduler will flow the weekly schedules and develop two and three week scheduling shells in support of student throughput. Scheduler will be expected to be proficient in the use of the F-35 TMS and local computerized scheduling programs (SHARP) in use. Provide training, orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Must be willing to travel, to include Squadron deployments for extended periods depending on operational needs. Position may require the ability to perform in an arduous duty environment and subject to all applicable U.S. Government requirements. Candidate must have prior scheduling experience with a military flying unit and be familiar with syllabus-based training. Candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication abilities, solid ability to organize and work independently and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction. Prior F-35 TMS and/or SHARP experience strongly desired. Working knowledge of flying training syllabus. Scheduling experience in a formal fighter training unit. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Secret clearance level. Other important information you should know: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Non-standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader. The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
