Your role will involve: Working with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement and construction specialists, contractors, vendors, and other project support staff/stakeholders. Managing transmission and distribution-related projects. Overseeing staff and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective, safe, and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed client expectations. Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. Identifying and managing project risks. Managing change control of projects. Authorizing expenditure commitments and approving invoice payments. Providing leadership to the project team. Serving as the primary interface with clients and other stakeholders. Conducting activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. Pursuing continuous professional development and maintaining a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. Working in a safe manner at all times and reporting all health and safety incidents and concerns. Additional duties as required. Qualifications include: A university degree in engineering; other professional qualifications will be considered with relevant experience. 3+ years of working experience as a Project Manager on power/utilities/energy-related projects (preferred). Knowledge of power/energy engineering principles as applied to design and construction projects. Experience with industry-related scheduling systems (MS Project, Primavera). Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated experience in developing project execution plans and budgets. Experience in preparing proposals for clients. Effective communication, organization, and presentation skills. Transmission and distribution/hydro experience is considered an asset. Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%.
