Function/Duties Of Position

Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide*. Primary duties include: Literature searches and information gathering; Making systems maps using kumu or word processing software; Summarizing information in written and visual form; Performing qualitative and quantitative data analysis Required Qualifications

Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours) Word processing Verbal and written communication skills Collaborative skills Problem solving Preferred Qualifications

Rising Junior or Senior Completed coursework in environmental science or environmental studies (incl. chemistry, biology, earth science, oceanography, etc.) Knowledge of coastal ecology Completion of written research projects Knowledge of literature review process Experience with data visualization techniques Knowledge of social network analysis Familiarity with surveys Additional Details

Hybrid position, with remote work and on-site work at OHSU on Marquam Hill in the Hatfield Research Center. Work will involve using a computer to conduct research. Desk will be situated in a laboratory, but the student will not be required to do bench work. All Are Welcome
